We are a small friendly congregation of Bible believing Christians. Our church is located at the bottom of Birkdale Road, next door to the Bupa Beach Haven Hospital.
Our ministry is closely associated with Ariel Ministries NZ. Their head office is located on the church premises.
Our two main Bible teachers are:
Johan Jansen Van Vuuren
John Cavanagh
As the name Birkdale Bible Chapel suggests we are associated with the Christian Brethren or Open Brethren Assemblies.
However, as with most Brethren assemblies we operate autonomously and have Charitable status.
